Senegal defender Kader Mangane is delighted with his move to Sunderland.
The Al Hilal utility completed a loan deal on Monday, keeping him at the Stadium of Light until the end of the current campaign.
Mangane told safc.com: "I'm happy to sign for Sunderland because I want to play in England and Sunderland have given me the chance to."
Mangane joins Sunderland from Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal and has been impressed by what he has seen.
"The facilities are amazing and I'm looking forward to getting started," Mangane added.
"I've had a look around and met with some of the players - Stephane Sessegnon and Craig Gardner.
"It's all very exciting. I'll give 100% for the team and show the fans how passionate I am about playing for the club."
