Juventus to seek option on River Plate youngsters in Higuain deal

Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain is interesting River Plate.

And Tuttosport says Juve sporting director Fabio Paratici is ready to use Higuain to secure first refusal on several River players.

Defender Gonzalo Montiel (23 years old), midfielder Santiago Sosa (20), striker Julian Alvarez (20), defender Lucas Martinez Quarta (23) and forward Federico Girotti are all interesting Paratici.

River teens Tomas Lecanda and Luciano Vera are two others Paratici has discussed with Juve scouts.

Dad Jorge Higuain said last year: "I would like him to finish his career at River Plate, like the whole family.

"With (Marcelo) Gallardo there is a great relationship. It would be nice to finish with him.

"But in Italy he feels good, he is happy. He has a special relationship with the fans and the management, he is in a good time to close his career with Juventus, with whom he still has a two-year contract."
