Juventus are eyeing Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk.

Gazzetta dello Sport says a defender is top of Massimiliano Allegri's wishlist after club stalwart Leonardo Bonucci was allowed to join domestic rivals AC Milan.

Liverpool, meanwhile, have spent much of the summer attempting to convince Southampton to part with Van Dijk.

Juventus are eying a deal for the 26-year-old.

It is said the Dutchman is being considered as a Bonucci replacement, alongside Valencia's Ezequiel Garay.
