Juventus striker Alessandro Matri admits he scored in his socks for victory over Fiorentina.

Mirko Vucinic opened the scoring, then Matri side-footed home with his stockinged foot, as the boot flew off as he was pulling the trigger.

"My boot fell off just before the goal, as someone had trodden on the back of my foot," said Matri.

"I scored in my socks. Oh well, it turned out for the best!"
