Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli has praised sports director Alessio Secco for the squad he's assembled this season.

After victory over Chievo, Cobolli Gigli said: "My feeling is that this season Juventus is stronger and has reinforced better than in previous years, it seems that there is a very strong morale.

"The technical staff were able to bring in players and settle them quickly without removing the good work that Claudio Ranieri and his coaches had previously performed, so I think we are in shape to do really well."
