Juventus are preparing a bid for Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners.
That's according to Sky Italia's Gianluca di Marzio.
Di Marzio is reporting: "An offer of 40 million (euros) plus bonuses is ready for the player from the Bergamo club. The Dutchman is Juventus' first target: (Cristiano) Giuntoli and the staff will not speed up, therefore, to get to other profiles.
"The intention is to close with Atalanta once the winter transfer session is over to find an agreement and lock in the player.
"The Dutch midfielder is enjoying a season as an absolute protagonist with the Atalanta shirt. Purchased in 2021 from AZ-Alkmaar, Koopmeiners has become a fundamental piece in (Gian Piero) Gasperini's tactical chessboard. During this season, so far, the midfielder born in 1998 has collected 26 appearances, 7 goals and 4 assists in the championship and cups.
"Juventus, therefore, has identified Koopmeiners as the player in whom it can invest from next season. To beat the competition, contacts will be intensified starting from February 3rd, i.e. at the end of the winter transfer market session."
