Juventus midfielder Blaise Matuidi is convinced coach Max Allegri has turned down Real Madrid.

The midfielder is currently at the World Cup with France, but has his eye on events back in Turin.

“Allegri showed his love for Juve by saying no to Real Madrid. It's super for us to still be able to count on him," Matuidi told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Bianconeri are improving the squad this summer and Emre Can is expected to have a medical after his contract with Liverpool expired.

“I am happy he's coming, because he has experience and quality. After all, he is a German international. We'll welcome him with open arms, I know he'll do very well with us."
