Manuel Locatelli was delighted proving Juventus' matchwinner at AC Milan on Sunday.

The midfielder struck the only goal of the game with AC Milan defender Malick Thiaw also seeing red.

It was a repeat of a past October 22 clash between the two clubs which was also decided by Locatelli - in an AC Milan shirt.

Locatelli later said: "Life is incredible, it's a sign of destiny. This pitch is special and will always be special for me. Today I was on Juventus' side and I dedicate this goal to the fans and to my family. They had Giroud up front who is very dangerous on the banks, we also closed a cage around him. Then it's clear that the episode in which they were left with ten men helped us."

Locatelli also had a word for Nicolo Fagioli after his betting ban.

He said, "Nico is a boy I love very much, he made this serious mistake and I think he understood it. He is receiving treatment, we will be close to him in these months when he will still be able to train with us.

"It is right that he pays if he made a mistake, but we must stay close to him. He is still young and has plenty of time to make up for his mistake."
