Juventus defender Fede Gatti was delighted proving the matchwinner against Monza last night.
Juve won 2-1, with Gatti scoring the second on 92 minutes - a minute after Valentin Carboni's equaliser for Monza.
“How can I tell you about it? It's an incredible emotion to score such an important goal," Gatti told DAZN.
“We had told each other before the game that we had to be table leaders after the final whistle. It's a shame for the goal we conceded because we could have done more, including myself. We were a little tired, but I made up for it immediately. These three points are so important."
On their title plans, Gatti also said: “We play for this.
“Before the game, we said we had to be leaders after the match. It was super tough. Monza are solid and united and last season, we hadn't even earned a point against them. It is a fundamental victory."
