Juventus have approached Schalke 04 for midfielder Ivan Rakitic.

German and Italian sources say Juve chief Alessio Secco has revived his interest in the Croatian international and asked Schalke to name their price.

Michel Urscheler, Rakitic's agent, has admitted he met with Secco during the winter market, and it's emerged this week a new move has been made for the young midfield schemer.
