Juventus hero Alessio Birindelli has lashed out at Maurizio Sarri after their Coppa Italia final defeat to Napoli last night.

With scores locked at 0-0 at the final whistle, Napoli defeated Juve in a penalty shootout.

Birindelli told TuttoJuve: "I have not seen a change within the same game. Honestly I have not seen a manager who has tried to do something different, the team seems to follow a single theme. Monothematic.

"Yet Juve has different players in the squad to change face and face, but I have not seen any of this."

For Birindelli, at this point there is also the concrete risk that Juve will lose the championship: "Fear exists, Juventus has some difficulties to date. Although it must be said that the only references are Napoli, Inter and Milan. We still don't know how the others prepared themselves.

"In my opinion, the team seems mentally unloaded."
