Juventus are confident of talking down Liverpool's asking price for Alberto Aquilani.
Aquilani is on loan from Liverpool and it's reported Juve are trying to negotiate a discount on the £16m buy-out clause.
Juve GM Beppe Marotta said: "Aquilani has been a pleasant surprise and we're glad to bring such an important player back to the Nazionale.
"Clearly we all intend to sign him permanently. We currently have a buy-out clause that we consider to be negotiable and these are the typical issues that go on within the transfer market. We'll discuss it with Liverpool at the right moment."
