Juventus GM Marotta calm over Alex Sandro Chelsea rumours

Juventus GM Beppe Marotta insists Alex Sandro is happy where he is.

The Brazilian has been linked with Chelsea, however Marotta is confident he won't agitate for a move.

"He said he wants to stay here, so we sent the offers right back where they came from," Marotta told reporters in the mixed zone today.

Blaise Matuidi is undergoing the second part of his medical today and will be unveiled as a Juventus player, arriving from Paris Saint-Germain for €20m plus up to €10m in various bonuses.

“We have a verbal agreement with PSG and it will soon be official. We have a winning group that did not require a revolution. Teams who transform over the summer had problems that needed fixing.

“We created a model for introducing quality players. We want to be able to take opportunities and not keep hold of those who are unhappy.

“There is no such situation here now, but there are another 15 days to deal with any requests from other clubs."
