Tottenham are threatening Juventus' hopes of securing Andrea Pirlo to a new deal. Pirlo's current contract expires in June and he's received an offer from Tottenham, along with a revised proposal from Juve.
Sportmediaset says Juve have caved in and agreed to make a long-term, three-year contract offer to Pirlo, having initially been reluctant to go beyond 12 months. The agreement would be worth €4 million-a-year.
Spurs, meanwhile, have offered Pirlo's camp a similar three-year package worth €6 million-a-year.
There's concerns at Juventus stadium that Pirlo's desire to experience a foreign league before he retires could swing negotiations in Tottenham's favour.
