Juventus defender Nicola Legrottaglie has spoken out against the fan who slapped teammate Jonathan Zebina before their win over Atalanta on Sunday.

As the players were entering the team bus, with local cops keeping angry fans at bay, one broke through the cordon and slapped Zebina across the back.

Legrottaglie said: "Zebina's reaction to what happened to him shows the difference between him and those who attempted to assault him. Who is sick is not Jonathan, who is very quiet, but the one who committed the act.

"But we should not give this so much publicity. I fear the person in the wrong will become famous and encourage others to do the same."
