Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini spoke to fans after his dismissal in Italy's World Cup qualifying win against Israel.

He gave away a goal to Tal Ben-Haim, then received two avoidable yellow cards.

“It was an off night for me, but fortunately the squad was formidable and brought home the three points," wrote Chiellini on Twitter after the 3-1 win.

It was his first dismissal at the 90th senior cap for Italy and means he'll be suspended for the next clash against Spain in October.
