Juventus are confident of clinching a deal with Liverpool for midfielder Xabi Alonso.
The Anfield giants value the midfielder at £16million but the Italians have offered £14.5m so far.
Juve are willing to give Alonso, 26, a four-year deal worth £70,000 a week.
A source at the Turin side told The Sun: "His agent confirmed he wants to come. It's great news. All that is left now is to reach an agreement with Liverpool."
