Juventus coach Ferrara: Bayern Munich clash is Cup final

Juventus coach Ciro Ferrara says their Champions League clash with Bayern Munich is like a Cup final. Juve cannot afford to lose if they're to reach the knockout round.

Ferrara said: "Bayern have players who can create difficulty, but I don't believe that it will be a game without balance. They will try to maintain the right balance, all the while looking to hurt us when they can. Juve have to rediscover their characteristics, like that of also being a workmanlike team.

"We have been missing this in some moments of the season, but now we are on the right track. We have to have more continuity if we want to reduce the distance with those teams ahead of us in the table. There have been matches in which we haven't played at a high level, but unbeatable teams do not exist. We have probably made some more errors than those teams ahead of us.

"I repeat, there is an important gap with Inter, but it's not impossible to bridge it. There has been an improvement points-wise with respect to last year and this is also thanks to the contribution of the new players.

"Our opponents have also reinforced and they have improved their own points tally. I believe that I have very strong players available to me and that we are just a step away from being at the top."
