Juventus coach Allegri: Sassuolo hammering shows our reality

Juventus coach Max Allegri says Fede Gatti will recover from his own goal scored in defeat to Sassuolo.

Gatti struck against his team in injury-time as Sassuolo won 4-2.

“He has made errors and he will do more in his career," said Allegri.

“He has played 30 games for Juventus, I think. He must remain calm, the error was ugly to see but did not impact the result. We must be quiet and work towards Lecce, the only unbeaten team with Inter."

Allegri also said: “There had been euphoria around the team since Thursday.

“People said Juventus must win the title. It's not the case, we must earn a top-four finish which will be difficult. We must be aware that we must struggle enormously to win every game. We are not able to turn and off quickly, we lost an ugly game and we must return to winning on Tuesday."
