Juventus coach Allegri happy after victory over Lecce: A cursed year for Pogba

Juventus coach Max Allegri was left pleased with their 2-1 win against Lecce.

Juve won 2-1, with Leandro Paredes and Dusan Vlahovic scoring before halftime.

Allegri later said: "These are points that build morale and rankings. We started May well: Sunday we have a direct clash with Atalanta , then Sevilla. It's a good performance, we had to score more goals because then in the end you risk.

"Lecce are a settled team, they play well and have good individual players. We take these three points because it's been a long time since we've also lost the taste of victory.

"Today (Leonardo) Bonucci played a great game, as did Paredes. (Fabio) Miretti must learn to score because he's making too many mistakes, he has the ability to score in his DNA. He's still a young boy, he played am excellent game.

"Vlahovic has been growing, he was good especially at the end in the open spaces. Let's enjoy the victory because we needed it."

Asked about Paul Pogba's performance, Allegri concluded: "With what we saw today, I think Pogba is only at 30%. He has to find the condition, for him it was a cursed year. From here to the end we will need him."
