Juventus coach Max Allegri says Angel di Maria wasn't fit for their 1-1 drawa with Bologna.

It was claimed Di Maria pulled out complaining of an ankle injury only after learning would not be starting.

"He had an ankle causing him pain," Allegri said after the 1-1 draw.

“When someone is 50-50, I leave him at home. I need healthy players on the bench.

"Di Maria is an important player for us."
