Juventus chief Alessio Secco has come away from talks with Real Madrid yesterday without a deal for midfielder Mahamadou Diarra.
Secco was in Madrid to negotiate a deal for the powerful Mali international, but couldn't agree terms with his Real counterparts.
Juve are seeking a loan agreement for next season with concerns over Diarra's knee injury, while Real are insisting on an outright sale to the tune of £18 million.
Both parties have agreed to schedule another round of talks in an attempt to find a compromise.
