Juventus chief Alessio Secco has explained why they splashed out big for Fiorentina midfielder Felipe Melo.
Secco said: "We took note of the fact that Udinese valued Gaetano D'Agostino so highly.
"So the Board decided to make a further economic sacrifice, bringing home the Brazilian midfielder."
