Julio Cruz was delighted with his winner for Inter Milan in this week's victory over Lecce.
"(Zlatan) Ibrahimovic knew that I was arriving and I just had to hit the ball on target - happily it went in," the ex-Bologna man recalled.
"I've been at Inter for many years now and I always want to do well in these colours and to make these fans happy.
"The Coach asked me to play behind Ibra and Adriano and to lend a hand in midfield. Things went well and we got a crucial win."
The next test for Inter is the Milan derby this weekend, which is a mouth-watering proposition.
"It's important that we are top of the League ahead of the derby, which is a unique game," Cruz explained.
"We will try and impose ourselves and we need to show the strength and the class that we have."
