COMMENT: At time of writing, it looks as if John Terry has played his final game for Chelsea and in effect left this football club.

Don't get me wrong, I will continue to chant his name and demand a contract, but in all reality I hold next to no hope at all that the board will change their minds.

Let's make this plain and simple. They do not give a toss about the fans. What we want is completely irrelevant to them.

As long as we churn up our money home and away, week in week out, then that's all that matters to them.

The fact we have lost both our greatest ever Captain and greatest ever Manager in the same season, yet Michael Emenalo keeps his job is nothing short of disgusting. That man has held this football club back for a long time and continues to do so, but staggeringly, remains in a job.

But it's only fair to talk about JT.

For me, without a shadow of a doubt, he is the greatest player in our history. Not just on the pitch, but also off the pitch as well. The bloke has done so much for this club its madness, and that makes the way he has been treated even harder to take - not just for John, but for the fans as well.

If he is to depart this week, he better get a fantastic send off.

Thank you John for everything.
