Philadelphia 76ers owner Josh Harris is close to completing a purchase of Crystal Palace.

The Mail on Sunday says the takeover of Crystal Palace by Harris is expected to be completed by the start of the transfer window on July 1.

Current Palace chairman Steve Parish will stay on to help supervise what is likely to be the biggest-spending summer in the club's history.

Negotiations with Philadelphia 76ers owner Harris are progressing well with Parish keeping a 10% stake and his role as chairman for the time being at least with the prospective new owners keen to use his experience in what will be a very important transfer market.
