Jordi Gomez is excited about his move to Sunderland.
The former Swansea City midfielder is looking forward to playing for Sunderland boss Gus Poyet.
"I am looking forward to working with him, and that's why joining Sunderland is very good news," said Gomez.
"He is a brilliant head coach and did a very good job last season. I am really happy to be working with him. He has good ideas and I like the way he wants his teams to play.
"I am happy to have a coach like him. I think my style will fit his ideas."
