Jonny Evans is training with former club Manchester United.

The Northern Ireland captain is a free agent after coming off contract at Leicester City last month.

The Manchester Evening News says Evans has been training this past week with United at Carrington.

Evans is expected to return to the Premier League after Leicester's relegation, with Everton keen.

Talks are expected to kickoff in coming week.
