Jones not frustrated over Man Utd role

Phil Jones does not have too many complaints about his currently reduced role at the club.

Jones has not been involved for United in the Premier League this season.

The centre-back is not first choice under boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but he knows that injuries and form will give him a chance to impress eventually.

"Since I came to this club – when I walked through the door – I knew I wasn't just going to walk into the team and expect to play," the 27-year-old said to United's official match programme.

"Today's no different. Of course I want to play, but we've got some quality players in that position.

"I'll wait for my chance and hopefully I'll get a chance sooner rather than later."
