Jones chasing Cardiff for unpaid bonuses

Dave Jones is chasing alleged money owed from Premier League newcomers Cardiff City.

The Daily Mail says Cardiff City have been hit by a High Court writ from former manager Dave Jones claiming around £600,000 allegedly owed in unpaid bonuses from his six years in charge.

These are £150,000 for taking Cardiff to the 2008 FA Cup final, £100,000 for reaching the 2010 play-offs, plus another £250,000 for making the final, as well as £100,000 for a place in the 2011 play-offs.

The writ details that the Cup final monies were verbally agreed with former club chairman Peter Ridsdale.
