A deadline day exit for Stoke's Jon Walters looks increasingly likely, with the Potters lining up Crystal Palace's Mile Jedinak as a potential replacement.
Walters handed in a transfer request yesterday in order to speed up a move out of the Brittania Stadium, with Norwich and West Bromwich currently appearing the most likely destinations for the Irish international.
Stoke boss Mark Hughes has identified Mile Jedinak as a signing should Walters leave, and while the 31 year old Australian is far from a striker in the mould of Walters, he would add value as a quality holding midfielder following Steven N'Zonzi's departure earlier this summer.
