Sam Johnstone says being on England duty is helping ease the pain of West Bromwich Albion's relegation.
The 28-year-old was excellent for England in the 1-0 friendly win over Romania last weekend and will be part of the 26-man squad for the upcoming Euros.
Asked by the Express & Starif his involvement with England helps with the disappointment of being relegated, Johnstone replied: "Yes.
"It was such a big disappointment for that to happen and I literally had a week off and was back with England.
"So it takes my mind off it because I'm enjoying this moment, still training and working hard every day."
