Adam Johnson hasn't ruled out staying with Middlesbrough, even if they're relegated.

"It's lot different in The Championship," he said in the Middlesbrough Evening Gazette. "I was on loan at Watford and we were a few points clear at one time.

"I don't think we should have any fears about it because if we did go down hopefully we would come straight back up again, but it's not something we need to think about today.

"We still have a job to do in The Premier League.

"If we beat Villa then we will give ourselves a chance."
