Former Chelsea defender John Terry will become an Aston Villa player on Monday, according to The Sun.

The 36-year old will sign a one-year deal with the club, worth £60,000-per-week.

Terry is expected to put pen to paper within the next 24 hours.

The former England skipper, who was released by Chelsea at the end of last season, will then jet to Portugal to begin preseason training with Villa.
