Joe Allon has urged Newcastle United U18s to grab their FA Youth Cup chance against Chelsea.
Allon won the trophy 30 years ago alongside Paul Gascoigne.
The former Chelsea striker told the Evening Chronicle: "They have some fantastic young players in their ranks.
"You could say they are the best youth team in the country because they are the holders of this prestigious FA Youth Cup we are still talking about 30 years on.
"In front of a big home crowd though I honestly feel Newcastle have a great chance."
