Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard was delighted with his two goal performance against the A-League Allstars.

Lingard shone in the 5-1 rout.

"Yes, it's been great, getting on the scoresheet and scoring two. Playing in front of all these fans, the fans are great, and the team played very well," he told manutd.com. "For the first one I remember Welbz [Danny Welbeck] let it go through his legs and I was one-on-one with the keeper. For the second one, Pat made an overlap and took the defender away with him. I cut inside and shot, and it went in. This is my second tour and I wanted to get on the scoresheet and I've done that tonight."
