Jeju United retain top spot in Korea

Jeju United remained four points clear on top of the K-League table with a fighting 3-2 home win over Gyeongnam.

The visitors took a two-goal lead through Bit-Garam Yoon and Lucio who netted twice in quick succession before the 20-minute mark but the league leaders fought back and were on level terms by the half-hour mark through a Eun-Jung Kim penalty and a Santos Junior equaliser.

Just prior to the hour-mark, Kim put Jeju ahead and the scoreline stayed at 3-2 until the final whistle.

In other K-League games, FC Seoul stayed four points behind Jeju despite their 2-0 home win over Incheon United, Ulsan Horang-i demolished Daejeon Citizen 5-1 thanks to a Jose Ortigoza hat-trick, Daegu beat Buan I'Park 2-1, Chunnam Dragons produced the same scoreline at home against Gangwon and Jeonbuk Motors and Gwangu Sangmu had a nil-all draw.
