Javi Gracia has been named new coach of Malaga.
Gracia, who will be presented by the Andalusian club next Tuesday, replaces Bernd Schuster, who recently left Malaga after just one season in charge.
The 44-year-old Gracia was in charge of Osasuna last term, but was unable to save his home-town club from relegation. He was previously coach at the likes of Almeria, Cadiz and Greek side Olympiakos Volou, while as a player he represented Real Sociedad, Villarreal and Real Valladolid.
