Javi Garcia isn't surprised Benfica teammate Angel Di Maria is wanted by Real Madrid.

The former Real midfielder admits he hopes Benfica can keep hold of Di Maria and David Luiz, who are both wanted by Madrid.

"They are both good players and friends," said Garcia. "I'd love them not to leave, because we badly need them, but I think it is difficult to keep them with us.

"Di Maria is very fast with a great left foot. He goes for defenders like a madman. He is not afraid and one on one is very difficult to stop. He can play as a winger or as a second striker."
