West Ham United winger Matt Jarvis was proud of his performance in their draw with Sunderland.

The West Ham wideman's quality cameo did not get under way until the 57th minute.

But he said: "I was delighted to get on the pitch and make my home debut. I obviously enjoyed it and liked providing the crosses for the rest of the team.

"You have to work, keep putting the crosses in and creating the chances and we were delighted to get our goal so near the end.

"When I get the opportunity I just want to play well, keep working hard and see where it takes me."
