Manchester United midfielder James Garner is waiting to be released for loan this week.
The Manchester Evening News says there's been claims of United being in talks with some interested clubs to send Garner out on loan.
As it stands, nothing is sorted in that regard.
The young midfielder hasn't featured for the first team since coming on as a substitute in the Carabao Cup quarter-final win over Colchester in the middle of December.
Garner's short-term future may depend on whether United can bring a midfielder in between now and the January deadline.
More likely to negotiate deals away are Angel Gomes and Tahith Chong.
