Everton defender Lars Jacobsen admits the uncertainty surrounding his future at Goodison Park is weighing on his mind. The 29-year-old is hopeful of earning a contract extension when his one year deal expires.

"It's at the back of my mind that I don't know what will happen after the summer," Jacobsen told Ekstra Bladet.

"What I need now are some more matches. The physical fitness is fine. First of all, I have to see how many matches I get to play for Everton."
