Jussi Jaaskelainen must take a 50 per cent pay-cut to stay with Bolton Wanderers.

The Sunday Express says Jaaskelainen, 36, is out of contract this summer and has been offered two more years at the Reebok Stadium.

But not only is the Finn facing growing competition for the Trotters' No 1 spot from Hungary's Adam Bogdan, 24, he is unhappy at the prospect of his reported £40,000-a-week wages being slashed in half.

New QPR boss Mark Hughes is already showing interest in the Finn.
