Former Spezia goalkeeper Ivan Provedel is delighted with his move to Lazio.

Provedel arrives to compete with fellow new addition Luis Maximiano for No1 status after Thomas Strakosha's departure for Brentford.

He said, "I thank the Director and the Club for closing this negotiation.

"There is a right age, I did a lot of training, also due to an injury. For me it is a great opportunity, I just think I can do my best to improve.

"I hope to make a contribution to the team for the objectives to be achieved."
