Juan Manuel Iturbe was delighted to score for AS Roma in their derby win over Lazio.

The Argentine struck in the 2-1 victory.

"I am happy for the goal and had been waiting a long time, but it arrived at the right moment," Iturbe told reporters.

"I am so happy, not just for me, but for the whole team who deserved this victory and never stopped believing.

"We knew that we were a strong team, but this year we had difficulties because of injuries. It was not my best season, but I think today I made up for it.

"The derby is always tough and we were facing a strong Lazio side, but had to honour the jersey. It was the only way we could approach it."
