Italy to be kitted out by Armani

Italian fashion brand Giorgio Armani has signed a four-year deal with the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) to provide the national teams with formal off-field outfits.

The deal will see Armani produce formalwear from its Emporio Armani range for the men's, women's and Under 21 national teams.

Alongside shirts, coats and trousers, the Italian teams will also be provided with shoes, a duffel bag, a backpack and Emporio Armani glasses.

FIGC president Gabriele Gravina said: "We are proud that Italian excellence like Emporio Armani has decided to link its brand to the Italian national football teams."

"This agreement makes me particularly happy," Giorgio Armani added: "It is another way of bringing Italianness to the world."
