Italy striker Immobile delighted scoring for Borussia Dortmund in Arsenal win

Italy striker Ciro Immobile was delighted with his goal for Borussia Dortmund in their Champions League win over Arsenal.

Immobile broke the deadlock in tonight's 2-0 Champions League victory.

"I am happy, especially as some were already talking about me as a failure. I am a foreigner here, let's not forget, so I need time to settle and I'm working hard," he told Sky Sport Italia.

"The Coach and my teammates are wonderful and really helping me. International duty gives you that extra push to do better and I love wearing it, so I returned to Dortmund even more fired up.

"I dedicate the goal to my family, my wife, my child and my parents, as they know how much I suffered at the start. This goal was like a weight off my shoulders.

"If Klopp chose me, giving me confidence and time, he said it's because he saw many of my games and knows what I can do.

"Is it more complicated getting accustomed to German football or cuisine? I have my wife at home, so I still eat Italian food!"
