A return to Italy is all but over for former Inter and AC Milan star Ronaldo.

Ronaldo is close to agreeing a new deal with Corinthians, which is likely to see him play out his final days with the Brazilian giants.

The former World Player of the Year had been linked with Roma and Parma, among several Serie A clubs, but his agent, Fabiano Farah revealed: "The year 2010 is already a done deal, no doubt. Now we must find a way to settle the final details and also conclude the agreement for 2011."
