Italy coach Cesare Prandelli has explained leaving Fiorentina striker Giuseppe Rossi out of his latest squad.
Rossi struck twice in victory over Genoa on Sunday.
"I'm following him with great interest," said Prandelli. "He's now finding his best condition again.
"But it's only right that we don't push things in terms of calling him up to the Giro Azzurro."
