Juventus striker Amauri's Italian passport application is underway.
The Brazilian's agent, Vittorio Grimaldi, said: "The naturalisation of Amauri is in progress, but the time to complete it does not depend on us."
Italy coach Marcello Lippi admitted this week: "Amauri is a very good player, but first we must resolve the problem of his naturalisation."
